Wine Tasting and Gardeners Evening to Become an Annual Event

Our first Customer Appreciation Event on May 2 was a fun and interesting evening shared with 60 or so customers. In addition to trying three white wines and one red wine from FennValley Vineyards, customers also enjoyed learning about some of our newer plant varieties and exchanging gardening ideas and experiences.

A few plant highlights from the event:
Talinum Limon – Provides striking green color with tiny rose-pink flowers. It does well in containers and flowerbeds, takes sun and some shade.

Easy-Scapes – These annuals come in new, earth-friendly containers. Each plant comes wrapped in a biodegradable paper pot. Simply plant the paper pot in the ground or in a container and let them grow.

Lilium Oriental X Trumpet – A breakthrough in great garden lilies. With new colors and enhanced garden performance, Oriental X Trumpet lilies have thick latex-like petals and a soft fragrance. They flower in late spring to summer.

American Beauties – These are native plants that are naturally adapted to our region and require very little maintenance. They are disease resistant and attract birds and butterflies to your garden.
