Plan for Spring Color Now with a Variety of Bulbs

Planting bulbs is a way to ensure that, come spring when the snow is melting and the ground is warming, color will soon emerge. We have a good selection of bulbs to choose from including Bulb Blends from Van Bloem Gardens. Bulb Blends are presorted bulb combinations that take the guess work out of mixing and matching bulbs that complement each other.

Our Bulb Blends include:

Tulip Double Daiquiri Mix – a combination of red, burgundy and white tulips. The tulips have double blossoms and look similar to peony blossoms.

Tulip Fringed Fantasy Mix – a combination of pink and yellow tulips. The tulips have a fringed edge.

Tulip Parrot Feather Mix – is a bold combination of deep red and red/white variegated tulips with fringed edges.

Tulip Valentine Candy Mix – is a bright red and white combination of tulips.

In addition to these Bulb Blends we are also carrying daffodils, hyacinths, muscari, allium, narcissus, crocus, anemone and freesia bulbs plus iris tubers.

Bulbs in the Bottom is another unique item that we offer in the fall. This is a bio-degradeable pot with pansies and bulbs already planted in the pot. You plant the entire pot in the ground in the fall and enjoy the pansies now. Then in the spring, the pansies and the bulbs bloom together for a beautiful effect. This makes it easy to have both pansies and bulbs together.

Tony from Van Bloems will be here to teach us how to select, plant and care for bulbs in both the fall and the spring. A light snack will be provided.
