Quick Classes and Upcoming Winter Arrangement Workshop

Have Fun with Holiday Decorating

We will continue our Quick Classes on Thursday evening, October 16th from 6-7 PM with winterizing your gardens and dividing perennials. Please call the store at (269) 388-2266 to register for this free class. Karen Koziol, a master gardener and a long-time customer service person at our store, will be leading the class.

Looking for ideas and to learn more about how floral designers produce arrangements, wreaths, swags and outdoor decorating? Join us on either Thursday evening, December 4th from 6-8PM or Saturday, December 13 from 9-11 AM for our Holiday Arrangement Workshops.

The workshops will be taught by Anne Anderson, floral designer and Community Education Instructor. Anne graduated from Michigan State University with an education degree and earned a certificate in floral design from MSU prior to opening Anderson Bridal & Events. Anne works with clients to create unique bouquets, themes and special arrangements. She has taught floral arranging for Lakeview, Kellogg, Parchment and Portage Community Education.

The first half of the workshops will cover principles of floral design and design techniques. The second half of the workshops attendees can build a wreath, swag, outdoor urn arrangement or a centerpiece. The cost for the workshop is $10/person. We will offer all class participants a 20% discount on purchases that day so you can mix and match the items you'd like for creating your arrangement and save on additional items in the store.

We will have a list of supplies that will be available for the workshops included in our e-mail reminder about this workshop in late November. Also feel free to bring your own urns if you'd like to make a winter arrangement for them.

Registration is required for the Holiday Arrangement Workshop with payment due at the start of the workshop. Please call the store at (269) 388-2266 to register and let our customer service rep know if you'll be making a wreath, swag or an arangement for an urn or centerpiece.

Workshop size is limited to 15 participants per workshop.
