We're excited to tell you about the new Novalis® Plants that Work by Color ® program. This branded, specialty annual program is exclusively for locally owned garden centers. The plants are the best available and are all chosen based on their ability to perform for the consumers.

Novalis® has tremendous merchandising material available including beautiful posters, on-line bench cards and more plus the Novalis® web-site can help direct traffic to your store.

The Plants that Work by Color® packaging helps sell the product more quickly and at higher margins. The specialty annuals will be offered in a 4.3"deep-10pack and, the feature items in a 17cm, 6pack. Both packages are the same, attractive green color that is used in the other Novalis® programs so that it coordinates well with the perennials, shrubs and rose programs.

The tags for the color program clearly show the color group that the plant is part of. This makes the option of merchandising the plants by color rather than by genera more feasible. You may want to try grouping all the yellow specialty plants together for just a week to see what impact it has. We know that color is what turns the benches in your store and have designed this program to be all about color.

The articles in this enewsletter are about specific plants in the program. We encourage you to use this information and pictures in your own newsletters and seminars. The Novalis® website will also have pictures and plant information to assist you. If you want to advertise or feature any of these items, please consider reserving them in advance so that we are better prepared to have the plants you need.
