We have increased our production of a number of annuals and perennials for your gardening needs.

We Are Responding to Your Requests

It's important to all of us at Wenke Greenhouses to have in stock the plants that you are looking for. Sometimes, for various reasons, we don't have the item you are looking for so we make notes and try to learn from your requests. The following is a list of some of the items that we will be producing more of this year specifically so that the plants you are requesting are available. We still have time to add if there is anything you'd like to suggest!

Alyssum – This is a tough plant for us to grow when the weather gets warm. Still, it performs really well for some and is a very popular item. We have a new series this year called Clear Crystal that we hope will be the solution. It's a tetraploid which gives it superior vigor, fragrance and garden performance.

Melampodium – We had over 19 documented requests for this terrific yellow annual. We will now be growing it in our bedding plant flat. Melampodium tolerates heat and humidity and gets to be about 12" tall.

Snapdragons – Tall snapdragons are oh so beautiful in the garden. We have added production for later in the season to make sure that we don't run out.

Zinnia State Fair - This variety gets to be tall and outstanding in the garden but it's very difficult to maintain in the flat. If you can direct sow the seed, the plants will perform better than when started from flats. Not many people want to do this so we try to have them available in flats. We added more production again this year!

Argyranthemum - This beautiful daisy is too hard to resist. We added more production this year and a new color.

Euphorbia – This little white flowered plant has really been a hit. When planted in a patio pot or hanging basket with other annuals, it adds the extra whimsy and texture to truly be outstanding. We added more production again this year.
