Featured Plants April 19, 2009

It's that time of year when I settle into one of my favorite routines. I arrive home from the greenhouse around 8 pm. Just in time to read books to my three year old and fall asleep by her side. I awake kinda' groggy around 9:30, however by 10, I am rarin' to go and proceed to work from 10 – 1.

Well the other night by golly, after watchin' the weather channel 'til 2am, I am convinced the narly patterns of rain and snow will be a thing of the past by the middle of next week and our weather is gonna' be warm and sunny for a nice long stretch here.

This timely break in the crummy weather will coincide with your customers flocking to your fine establishments in droves as frost-free dates have either just passed or will very soon. At Wenke Greenhouses, we tend to look on the bright side in that for a lot of us there are a good 6 – 8 weeks of prime time ahead and boy oh boy - its gonna' be pretty darn good!
