Volume 14, Issue 1 November, 2008
The Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays will soon be here. We're looking forward to the season and hope that you are too. If you purchase a poinsettia at Wenke Greenhouses or anywhere, please remember to completely cover the plant before you bring it out into the cold. They can get cold damage very quickly! Don't worry about poinsettias being poisonous. They are definitely not poisonous to humans or animals.
We have had a lot of interest in the holiday arrangement workshop we are offering Thursday, December 4th from 6-8 PM and Saturday, December 13th from 9-11 AM. Participants will learn how to decorate a wreath, make a centerpiece or create a patio pot arrangement for the holiday. The workshop will cost $10 and will be lead by Ann Anderson who is a floral designer. Participants will receive a 20% discount on purchases. Reply to this email or call 269-388-2266 to reserve your spot.
Cordially,
Lisa
